| We at PointCricket are committed to safeguarding
your privacy online. This privacy policy explains how your personal
information is used while you use PointCricket. This policy is subject
to change from time to time, so please keep visiting this webpage
from time to time for latest updates. There will always be a link

1. The site: www.pointcricket.com
All pages at PointCricket will carry a PointCricket logo. Any page
without a logo cannot be termed official. In case of pop-ups, the
PointCricket logo might not be placed. However, the title bar must
contain the word 'PointCricket' for it to be considered official. |
| |
2. What does this privacy policy cover?
This privacy policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable
information which is or has been collected when you visit PointCricket
and/or use PointCricket's services. |
| |
3. What personal information is collected by
PointCricket and when is it collected?
PointCricket collects information from its users in a number of ways.
To be specific, personal information is collected when users register
an account at PointCricket. Registration is usually voluntary, although
some parts of the site require registration (for example playing the
fantasy cricket game) in order to avail full access to the services.
Information requested will include contact details including name
and e-mail address. If you contact PointCricket, we may keep a record
of that correspondence. |

4. What are cookies and log files and how does
PointCricket use them?
PointCricket also collects information from the site using 'cookies'
and 'IP files'.
Cookies
A cookie is a message given by a web browser (which displays your
chosen webpages on your computer) to a web server (which delivers
the web pages to your computer). The message is stored by your browser
and will be used each time you access the site which the cookie relates
to. Cookies enable PointCricket to track and target the interest of
its users to enhance their experience on our site.
Log files
PointCricket also uses IP (Internet Protocol) addresses to analyse
trends, administer the site, track users' movements, and to gather
broad demographic information for aggregate use. In certain cases,
the information may be scaled down to analyse specific IP addresses
resulting from suspicious activity at PointCricket. All users to the
Internet have an IP address, which enables networks connected to the
Internet to transmit the data and messages submitted by users from
one host to another and to ensure that the messages are understood.
IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information
and therefore the information obtained by PointCricket using IP addresses
does not enable individual users to be identified. However, in case
of any suspicious activity, the IP address can be used to help gauge
the offender. If other means are not possible, the IP address can
be blocked too, therby disallowing access to all the users of PointCricket
by using that particular IP address. |

9. What other security precautions should users

PointCricket strongly recommends that users do not divulge their PointCricket

passwords via phone calls, text messages through cellular networks
or unsolicited emails. Users should make it a point to log out from

using a computer in a public place such as a library or Internet cafe.
No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100%
secure. As a result, while we strive to protect users' personal information,
PointCricket cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information
transmitted to it, and users do so at their own risk. Once PointCricket
receives your transmission, every effort is made to ensure it remains
secure on its systems.
You should keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal
information online - for example on forums, through email, or in chat
areas - that information can be collected and used by others. If you
post personal information online that is accessible to the public,
you may receive unsolicited email messages from other parties in return
and/or your personal information could be misused.
Ultimately, you are solely responsible for keeping your passwords
and/or account information secret. You should be careful and responsible
whenever you are online. |

aware of what information is collected, in what ways is it used and
under what circumstances can it be disclosed. If PointCricket makes
