The 2010 hockey world cup is happening these days....Pakistan have played 2 matches so far.....they lost their first match to India 1-4...and won their 2nd match against Spain 2-1....they will now face England on Thursday... South Africa on Saturday....and Australia on Monday....

Pakistan have lost against England 2-5...Pakistan fought well...they were 0-2 down but managed to make it 2-2....at that moment they were firing with all cylinders,,,,then when they scored their 2nd goal the game got stopped for approx. 10 minutes....the reason being an injury to a english player who took ages to go out of the ground and that too on a stretcher....and the other reason was England's protest against the 2nd goal....tv umpire was consulted and he allowed Pakistan the 2nd goal...i think that that little break in the game somewhat dropped the energy levels of the Pakistani team as England managed to score 3 goals when the match got started and it was all curtains for Pakistan....NOW ONLY A MIGHTY MIRACLE CAN HELP PAKISTAN TO STAY IN CONTENTION FOR A PLACE IN THE SEMIS...anyways...COME ON PAKISTAN !!!
